I downloaded and installed iphone 2.1 software today, in hopes that it would solve the myriad of problems I have encountered since updating to 2.0.1…
So far so good, I think that this is the software that should have been the initial release.Â
All my apps now work, and update without imploding the device, but I did have some funkiness updating the applications, but I am not sure if it an iPhone issue or and iTunes 8 issue, considering what I have been reading my money is on iTunes 8 being the culprit…
As you can see where I once had barely 1 bar when sitting at my desk, I now have a solid 3 bars, hitting 4 on occasion. Wondering how it will fare at the house, where I had similar coverage issues.
To early to tell on the power consumption front, but I will be watching that also…
