As I watch Darren Sproles give Drew Brees extra dimension, I wonder where the Chargers would be had they not been so stupid and let Sproles go…

WTF is wrong with Phil Rivers, does he want to go somewhere else so he can get a ring, because that seems the only way for a charger to get a ring…

We need to replace Norv Turner and AJ Smith, it should be obvious that Marty Schottenheimer wasn’t the problem, He’s got that awesome UFL Championship Ring, except he’s got to pay for it himself because I not sure the UFL or the Destroyers can afford it…

The San Diego Chargers lost what is essentially their final game of the season, Unless you count the pathetic bowl at Mile high next Sunday.
The Chargers special teams, have plagued the chargers all season, if there is a bright spot in Sundays loss, was that it was not special teams, this weeks failure was a team effort.
The level of play on Sunday was pathetic, and I’m guessing that in the coming post season, the wholesale changes that need to happen in special teams won’t happen.
I am amazed that the special teams coaches survived week 4, but they did, as for the players ther should also be a significant shake up there as well, the punting unit failed their punter Scifres almost every week, by making sure he abused by the opposing return unit, I’m amazed that he didn’t just quit the team around week 4…
The Chargers have tremendous talent, going into the future, and I hope that next year is better.

If my memory serves me, Marty had three failed attempts in the playoffs, before the Chargers fired him, now Norv has now had three failures in the post season. Norv inherited a team with tremendous talent, and has done nothing with it. Aside from the totally stupid penalties, that had to be some of the stupidest play calling in a post season game.

The Chargers have the second worst running game in the NFL, and the Jets have one of the best run defenses in the NFL, so why did they try to run in critical situations…

Even though Norv is the winningest coach in the history of the Chargers, Norv still needs to go 8 and ) to get to .500 as a head coach

The only question is, when Norv is fired who do they replace him with, Jim Zorn?

I have no idea how Gruden will fare, but anything has to be better then the worst ever football announcer in the history of the game.

I am not buying into the story that it was Kornholers choice, I have never ever talked to anyone that could even tolerate him, and I guess I don’t have to do the Sirius MNF sync trick, and I was getting so good at it…

I am trying to figure out who at the NFL or ESPN thought that San Francisco at Arizona would be an marquee game. On what planet over the past few years does an NFC West match up matter to anyone, then add to that add the crack ESPN Broadcast team, and you have a recipe for making Dancing With the Stars a must see.

I remember when the NFL would make the Monday Night game schedule based on the prior year standings, but now it seems that MNF is one of those things that every team gets to do once every couple of years instead of earning it. I guess it is true parity in the NFL, making all fans suffer through a game covered by Tony Kornheiser….

By the way Tony, the comb over isn’t working, and hasn’t been for a long time…

[PS]

I am so glad I got the Sirius working in the house again, sweet relief
